Artist Statement

Toni produces glass art sculptures from her rural studio, in Auckland New Zealand.
She has been working with glass since graduating from Whanganui School of Glass in 2012, specialising in cast & kiln formed glass.
Her sculptures have been exhibited and purchased by collectors across NZ. Toni has previously been on the NZSAG committee, and has learnt from & worked along-side some of New Zealand's very best female glass casters. Getting to this stage in her career has taken constant diligence and she is a proud member of a very small community of NZ glass artisans.

Artwork Artist Statement

My floating series continues to look at depth, light and colour. When creating, I use motion to move molten wax around the form, building up the natural lines and layers. Inspired by my surroundings; the landscape circling my home. The roses nestled within, symbolise members of my family.
