Kate Cornwall

Strong themes are approached subtly across Kate Cornwall’s work, often with a humorous or quirky reference in relationship to her chosen medium of glass.

Kates engages with a mixture of approaches and glass techniques in order to challenge how contemporary art is viewed and presented. Kate enjoys the freedom to bringing traditionally fine techniques in a historically craft arena, as seen in her more recent life drawing works. Kate currently lives in Ohakune, and works between Auckland and Ohakune where she maintains her studios. Kate welcomes studio visits, please email to arrange.
